Statement of Purpose
Founded in July 1993 and Incorporated as
a non-profit, educational organization under the laws of the State of
New Jersey in August 1993, East Coast Regional Dressage Association has
it's stated purpose:
"Whereas ECRDA was formed to help
educate any equestrians or non-equestrians
who are interested in horse riding, care, and management, ECRDA will specialize
in educating the rider to learn the proper dressage rules and techniques.
It is the desire among many equestrians
in the United States to foster and stimulate
interest in dressage; it is with this hope that this organization is established
as a
non-profit, educational organization.
Its further purposes are to foster and
stimulate interest in dressage, to educate,
conduct clinics, hold dressage shows, and provide helpful information
from
veterinarians, farriers, and trainers."
