Dressage Medals
ECRDA Dressage Medals are designed to recognize an
achievement of consistent 60% scoring regardless of class placement or
size of competition. They need not be earned in one year and are cumulative
from November 1, 1993. You must be a current member at the time the scores
are earned. Scores may be earned at all ECRDA sanctioned shows, including
the Championship Show. Submit the ECRDA Dressage Medals Scoring sheet
and copies of all tests (including both sides) to the chairperson by November
5th. The following medals will be awarded:
- The Bronze Medal :
awarded to a rider who has achieved 6 scores of 60% or above at Training
Level. At least 2 of the scores must be at Training Level Test 4. They
must be from 4 different judges at 4 different shows.
- The Silver Medal :
awarded to a rider who has achieved 6 scores of 60% or above at First
and Second Levels. These must be 2 scores from any First Level
Test and 1 score from First Level Test 4; 2 scores from any
Second Level Test and 1 score from Second Level Test 4. These
must be from a minimum of 4 different judges at 4 different shows.
- The Gold Medal :
awarded to a rider who has achieved 6 scores of 60% or above at Third
and Fourth Levels. These must be 2 scores from any Third Level
Test and 1 score from Third Level Test 3; 2 scores from any
Fourth Level Test and 1 score from Fourth Level Test 3. These
must be from a minimum of 4 different judges at 4 different shows.
- Musical Freestyle scores Do Not count towards medals.
- Awards completed by October 31st and submitted to the chairperson
by November 5th will be awarded at the Annual Year-End Awards Banquet.
- Medals are earned by the RIDER, therefore qualifying rides may be
earned on more than one horse.
